Constribution in Exhibition: Cortés, Portrait and Structure.

Title: Constribution in Exhibition: Cortés, Portrait and Structure.

The exhibition is a retrospective of the work of the painter from Cádiz, one of the most important Spanish portrait artists of recent decades, offering a review of the artist’s career from a structural perspective. It is a reflection on the work of Hernán Cortés: a deep meditation on who we are, what we share, and what makes us unique.

Around 130 works are on display, including sixteen photographs by painter María Bisbal that document the artist’s creative process and his work as a portraitist of the parliamentary world. The exhibition also includes a video interview about the process of creating a painted portrait.
